I am seeking a crew member with offshore sailing experience for a delivery from Plymouth to Lanzarote , departing at the beginning / early August Approximate passage time to be between 8 and 10 days Longbow of Itchen is a Bowman 48, built in 1998. I am her 3rd owner and purchased her in May 2019, she has had all new standing rigging, new main sails and a significant refit of many other parts and electronics over the last two years Due to Covid restrictions I spent the 2021 season doing some RORC 2 handed racing and cruising on the UK South and east coasts , logging approximately 2500 miles sailing She has 3 cabins plus the main saloon with twin single berths in one aft cabin, double berths in the other aft cabin and master cabin plus a single saloon berth in the main cabin. Two heads with showers plus water maker, new 5 Kw generator, electric primary winches plus two coach roof electric winches. A fully battened main with single line reefing makes reefing from cockpit simple & safe . For downwind sailing have a large Genaker on a Harken top down furler

What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): Watch-leader

Sailing with a Rally: None

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: non-smokers only

Total people on board: 4

Crew roles: Crew will be male or female with previous offshore sailing experience. Non smoker , sociable , no qualifications required, but will have experience of watch keeping and night passages Plan is to make the passage non stop with an estimated passage time of 8 to 10 days

Money: expenses shared equally

Travel to and from boat: crew pays
