From La Rochelle, France to Las Palmas, Spain.

June 2022 to September 2022.

My wife and I will accept delivery of a FP "New 51" sailing catamaran in June or July in La Rochelle, FR to replace our current FP Saona 47. Our plan is to sail the Med from July until September 2022 when we will sail south to Las Palmas to arrive mid October for the ARC+. My wife and I are both well experienced sailors with ARC and other Ocean experience, but we have never sailed the Med so we seek an experienced paid captain or even a couple with Med sailing experience to accompany us and various visiting friends and family this summer. I don't know the waters, the ports of call, customs, or the weather there, so even though we could learn, we have no desire to make the experience difficult for ourselves. It is possible, that if we find the right compatible person or couple, we would extend this job offer to include the ARC+. So, we are looking for this Captain or experienced sailing couple to join us in June or July in La Rochelle as we prepare the new boat, then sail until September or beyond. Compensation and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience with a completion bonus paid at the end of the sail. I am 60 years old and my wife is mid 50's. We are healthy and seasoned sailors, non-smokers, social drinkers who enjoy fine resorts, good food and good conversation. .

The Captain must have Med experience as, preferably Multilingual, preferably non-smoking although we would allow an "outdoor only - light smoker", healthy, preferably 28-55 years old, have RYA Yacht Master or equivalent. As mentioned this may be an excellent opportunity for a young experienced couple as well. In addtion to the paid Captain position, we may have unpaid opportunities for 2 persons or 2 couples to join for portions of the sail including: July 2022, La Rochelle to Gibraltar, October 2022, Gibraltar to Las Palmas.
