From Las palmas, Canary Islands to -, Martinique.

Hi my name is Huw im 31 and have been getting ready for crossing the Atlantic for the past 3 years, by buying my lovely 20 year old boat, a blue water cruiser that was in very good condition for the price i paid. My intention is to have 4 people on board myself and 3 other crew members to allow for a comfortable watch system as all crew will be very much involved in the sailing and command of the vessel. My itinerary is flexible and so far I have worked my way down the coast of Europe from my home town of Guernsey. I'm looking for crew to join me in exploring, diving and fishing the Canary Island in early September and then on to the Cape verdes (I am a qualified padi instructor and have dive equipment, tanks, compressor onboard for 5 divers). I will be in the Canaries for around 4 weeks and the same in the Cape Verdes followed by the Atlantic crossing to the Eastern Caribbean where I plan to cruise, dive and kite extensively for the next three months or so. All going to plan the Pacific will be happening as well... (2021) looking for crew who are happy to contribute to the financial cost of being aboard (€20 per day), in return all cruising/boat/crew fees will be covered as well as running costs, a simple vegetarian diet suplimented by caught and speared fish, as well as up to 7 scuba dives a week. (I can teach non divers the basics so you can join the dives). A modest amount of alcohol will also be supplied when at anchor for a few days. When sailing it is a dry boat! I also have some old kitesurf equipment on board, enough for two riders, if there's any kitesurfers out there keen to join the boat... (I am also sailing with my rescue dog Tank, he's bit of a handful, so you have to like dogs to be on this boat.)
