Based in Hawaii, our lives revolve around the Pacific Islands, and we are very aware of the impact that our 'civilized world' has on the more remote islands around us. We live our lives consciously and keep an active and healthy life style. We sailed from Fiji to Tuvalu to assist in setting up CORAL nurseries and other sustainable Industries which will help the islands standard of health and independence from relying on Fish for protein since we will be creating some new fishing zones to bring back the health of those reefs. We are working with an amazing scientist who is already set up with the governments and the community there. We would like a capable navigator to support our captains ability And experienced crew. Captain Ben is a mechanical engineer from the Netherlands who has a passion for sailing. He is a 500 Ton Master and has been working on a sailing cargo vessel, that serves remote islands in the Kiribati and the Cook Islands. Through his work, Ben acquired a lot of friends on the most remote islands in the Pacific Ocean. Many of these friends asked his help in starting small businesses, but Ben's time was always limited because of the tight time schedule of the cargo vessel. Ari is a professional artist with a practical interest in agriculture and ecology. She has been based in Hawaii since 1982, after spending her youth in the Bahamas, and receiving her artistic education across the US. A decade ago she laid the foundations for the Sea Stewardship concept. In the spring of 2017, on the docks of Kewalo Harbor in Honolulu, Ben met Ari and the yacht. The circle was complete. This was the right mix of means, genes and dare to start an endeavor. This is a private Initiative to assist Inclusive Sustainable Social and Economic Development of Pacific Islands. We are the first non profit sailing vessel to provide aid to the Line Islands of Kiribati. In May 2018 we sailed from Oahu to the Kiribati islands with our own 70 foot sailing yacht, to collect handicrafts and deliver them to the main island. We are here currently gearing up for the sail to fanning island, where we intend to host some workshops for local artisans. Then we continued our voyage to Fiji for dry dock and to bunker fuel and provisions. We sailed to New Zealand to shelter for Cyclone Season and were caught by COVID-19 restrictions, preventing us from starting our mission 2020. And then...
