[ Cancelled ] Athens – Israel delivery (and Greek Islands cruising) Greece to Israel ref 7421
Vincent Mattiola wants 2 crew for Herschel's Houseboat, Dolphin 31, 9m.
From Athens, Greece to Ashdod, Israel.
February 2017 to February 2017.
This is a delivery of a well-found Dolphin 31 from Athens, Greece to Ashdod, Israel. We intend to depart Athens on Feb 6 after a few days of sea trial and provisioning, cruise through the Cyclades and Dodecanese islands of the southern Aegean Sea, then cross to Cyprus, and south to Israel. We'll be making landfall in Israel by Feb 20 at the latest, ideally in Herzaliya, then cruising south to Ashdod to complete the delivery. February can be a bit chilly and blustery in the eastern Med, so we're looking for some hearty crew with a passion for adventure. I (skipper) have over 30,000nm of offshore experience, but mostly Atlantic, so someone with Greek Islands time would be valuable. I will cover all expenses aboard, including food, ship's costs (fuel & water, etc), dockage, etc, etc. Crew are expected to get themselves to Athens, and out from Israel. You're welcome to come early and stay late, as we'll be exploring inland Israel for a bit after the completion of the delivery. The owner has expressed a willingness for us to take our time with the 550nm passage, and choose weather windows as we please, so we're hoping to avoid the big blows and enjoy our time cruising through the Greek Islands. We're asking for a $500 voyage contribution per person for the two-week passage. Or about $35/day.
Vincent is currently based in Bequia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

I'd like to Skype interview crew ASAP to lock down our final set of hands, and will provide a ton more information. Please pass along some details about yourself, sailing CV (if you have one, if not, no worries), and a few references.
