wants 2 crew for Longbow of Itchen, Bowman 48, m.

From Chatham , United Kingdom to st lucia, Antigua & Barbuda.

June 2022 to December 2022.

I am seeking crew to join me on Longbow, a Bowman 48 yacht for the ARC 2022 CHANGE OF SCHDULE 8TH JUNE 2022 Longbow will leave Chatham at beginning of July for a short passage to the UK south Coast and I will spend most of July cruising the South Coast / Chaannel Isles before making my way to Falmouth ready for departure direct to the Lanzarote in the Canaries at the beginning of August. I will therefore NOT be spending time in the Mediterranean as originally planned, although we may stop in Norther Spain / Portugal for a couple of days on way down She will be based in the Lanzarote area till Late October before moving across to Las Palmas for the ARC start There will be a maximum of 4 or 5 crew, myself and my co skipper have sailed and raced 2 handed for the last 15 years in my old yacht. It is a requirement that the crew join the yacht for the delivery from UK to Canaries to learn about the yacht etc. although if potential crew have high ocean milage a shorter trip of several days either in July on the UK coast or possibly in the canaries would be open to consideration. Experience of some offshore cruising important, non smokers only sorry, Age not important, but good physical health important for such a passage Costs will be on a equal shared basis for food, fuel , entry fees. Travel expenses to and from the yacht to be crews responsibility . Boat running costs / repairs / leisurely to be my responsibility
