| Hello I'm Wim. I decided to pre-retire after 38 years of hectic professional life at C-level. I skippered our own boat - a 37ft ocean going Koopmans around Europe. Sailing from the Netherlands towards Norway, Sweden and Poland as far as down to Gibraltar into the Med. My longest ocean passage today was sailing our boat from Horta (Azores) to Falmouth (UK). Spend some holiday skippering time in Greece and Kroatia as well and joined several delivery skippering crew. All in all I sailed approx. 20.000 miles. While I'm awaiting my wife to retire from here professional life before we set sail at large I wish to spend as much time on the water that I can. So if you are seeking for a solid, no nonsense, easy going co-skipper/watch-leader to join you in your travels around Europe or across the Atlantic I'm your man. I m holding an ICC, VHF DSC , a GOC GMDSS and a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certificate. | |
