Retired, worked in and on the ocean my entire career as a subsea engineer. Spent many weeks and months at sea in Bass Strait, North Sea and NW Australia on construction barges and Dive Support Vessels. Past member of Fremantle Sailing Club, Royal Yacht Club of Victoria and Chelsea Yacht Club. Sailing experience off the beach and some ocean racing. Cruising experience around the Australian coast and the Med in mono hulls and Catamarans. Volunteer Crew on STS Leeuwin II as Watch Leader. Studied seamanship, coastal and ocean navigation at RMIT in the 70's and recently completed RYA Coastal Yachtmaster. My wife and I attended Outremer training week in 2019 and crewed on O51 Two Coconuts during race week. We have sailed together on STS Leeuwin II and along the WA coast and would like to experience some ocean sailing together should the opportunity be available. Our other interests include golf and camping. | |
