Retired 69 year old dentist Have owned and cruised two oceangoing full keel sailboats along the eastern seaboard of North America and the Bahamas since 1984. 2.5 years of live aboard cruising. Chartered and bareboat skippered mono and multihull sailboats around 40 feet in length in the Caribbean, west coast of Canada and the Great Lakes. Did a 7 day offshore course with The Maryland School of Sailing, Norfolk to Bermuda in 2017. Also the Delmarva coastal cruising course with the same sailing school. Have my coastal and celestial navigation courses through the Canadian Yachting Association and the Maryland School of Sailing respectively. Recently did a 11 day passage from Columbia to Panama, 4 days offshore, 4 days in the San Blas Islands on a Westerly 51 monohull as a crew member. Want to learn more about offshore sailing as a member of a quality sailboat arrangement. Laid back but meticulous about maintenance and navigation. Fit and willing to meet the right boat anywhere. Willing to contribute to the expenses. Enjoy people of all ages.
