I have been sailing since childhood. Initially Optimist and Lazer and during the last 30 years Hobie Cat and now VX One. At the same time I have crewed on yachts mainly for in-shore races. The last 10 years with the same 10 person crew on a 43ft. Arcona recently upgraded to 46' full carbon boat. I am the technical head for all matters onboard and have held positions on foredeck and piano (trim). Offshore sailing the last four years includes crossing the Mediterranean Sea, the Bay of Biscay and the Atlantic (I skippered the boat). Joined as crew on an AMEL 55 in the ARC 2021. On the theoretical level I am a Yacht Master 3rd Class (can skipper yachts up to 75'), have VHF certificate and have done BOSIET off shore survival training. Very strong health with only 3 sick days the last 8 years.
My personallity is easygoing, friendly and focused - I love to win.
