Stephen Mueller, male, 52

Ref 52341

Nationality: United States
Currently based in: Truckee, United States
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 7800 ocean miles / 1000 coastal miles
Recently retired from a career in the Fire/EMS field after 28 years. I now have the freedom to take large blocks of time and explore the world. I worked on boats in Hawaii during college. I jumped back in with both feet 3 years ago when I met Richard Spindler from Latitude 38 on a trip to Mexico. I ended up the following week on his 63’ cat the Profligate. I helped him and his wife take the catamaran a 1000nm from Puerto Vallarta to San Diego. That’s how my sailing story started. Several more trips since then. Leaving next week to do ARC Europe from St Maarten to Portugal. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring the the many cultures of the world. My wife is very supportive and has also done a 1000nm delivery. She is a nurse and also haves a love of the ocean. I really enjoy the water and water activities (diving, snorkeling, SUP, fishing, surfing, kite boarding is on my list to learn). After 28 years in the California fire service, I remain calm under pressure. Certifications include EMT, CPR, PADI Diver, fire officer. Please reach out if you are looking for a reliable, respectful, out going team mate.
