| I'm a Norwegian sailor looking to cross the Atlantic and do other journeys this year. I'm 36 years old and I have 15 years of bluewater sailing experience as captain of my own boats (32ft & 44ft). I have done most of the treacherous coastlines of Norway and crossed smaller seas like the Skagerak, North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Mediterranean and Aegean sea. I appreciate both steering a ship through choppy waters while fighting the sea sickness, and relaxing on a sunny deck in a perfect breeze. I'm also a big foodie and love cooking for others. I'm used to finding solutions to all and any sail and rigging issues, as well as emergency fixes to engine or electrical systems if the emergency requires it. Otherwise social, positive and sea loving. Careful and safety oriented. If you're in need of two crew I can often convince my brother (in picture) to join. He's 5 years younger with a similar sailing experience. | |
