| Hi or Moin, my name is Saskia, I am 51 years old and even though a grew up near the Baltic Sea, I only started sailing at the Wannsee in Berlin about 10 years ago. Together with my family we did some sailing-holidays over the years (with skipper) mainly in the Mediterranean Sea and Azores. My daughters are grown up now and during the last 3 years I did a few more sailing-trips enjoying it more and more (Helgoland, around Denmark, Menorca-Corsica/Sardinia, Malaga-Madeira-Lanzarote). I did 2 German sailing licences: Sbf See and SKS. I can do night-watches, stearing (not in the habour yet) and assisting in the maneuvers. I am keen to learn each day something new.... My daughters have spend 6 month on a school-ship, crossing the Atlantic both ways - they are my inspiration for an Atlantic-crossing: starting with the southern route;) | |
