Hi, my name is Samuel Wilson, and I am a 21 year old, male, searching for an opportunity to join as a crew member on a transatlantic eastwards sail sometime between May-July this summer. I am willing to contribute expenses if necessary. A Little About Myself: I major in Cognitive Science and Creative Writing. I am a trained emergency medical technician, aspiring doctor, longtime sailor, and quality friend. I do not smoke, and I would be comfortable on a drinking or non-drinking boat. I love to read and write, almost as much as I love to sail. I am easy to get along with, (a great time I would argue really) and I learn very quickly. Sailing Experience: I am a member of the Ware River Yacht Club, where I worked as the Head Instructor of the Junior Sailing Camp. There, I taught and coached children aged 7-12 how to sail and race in dinghies such as Optis, Lasers, and 420s. Beyond my experience with small boats, I have also skippered larger vessels of upwards to 30 ft. throughout portions of the Chesapeake Bay area, and I have navigated parts of the Caribbean in a 40 ft. sloop with my father. Though I do not have extensive crewing experience, I am a quick learner! Fun Fact: I spent last semester studying on a ship that visited 11 different countries
