| Originally from the Isle of Wight, I've always had a love of the sea. I have a day skipper license and have skippered several sailing holidays with friends in Greece and Turkey. In May 2021, I spent 5 weeks in the Med, helping deliver a Beneteau first 40, which included many night watches. More recently, I joined another Beneteau first 40, sailing from Malta to Gibraltar, and then onto the Canaries. I am based in Paris, where I was teaching in an international school, but I have recently changed career to writing. I have two books published, both historical fiction. I am sociable, adaptable and easy-going. I'm also a good cook, and have plenty of experience cooking at sea. I am happy to share all tasks onboard. Having been a teacher, I know how to follow instruction and take criticism positively. I'm a good communicator and a good listener. | |
