| Owner and operator of a 2004 Amel .Super Maramu. Sailed her from Holland to the Med and N coast of Africa, living aboard with my wife full time for 7 years. Crossed Atlantic last January. Previously owned the smaller version of the SM, the Amel Santorin which I sailed for 10 years on the East coast from Maine to Bahamas living aboard about half time. Presently boat is in Aruba about to be launched for a trip to Santa Marta, through the canal to Marquesas, then through French Polynesia (total of 3 months) and then Tonga, Fiji Vanuatu etc to Australia by October or so. Due to the advent of a grandson, my wife and sailing partner will be joining me for shorter cruises! Will be meeting a very qualified crew member in Panama in early March. Looking for someone to join my wife and I for a February 15 departure to Santa Marta, Colombia or meet me in Santa Marta for a stop in Cartagena, San Blas Islands and through the canal and beyond. | |
