| I was a young Sailer until I turned 19, but then , life and family made me a land lover. Over the years I have had a few good sail boats to escape to, from small cats to a nice 29 foot morgan which sailed for several years in the Chesapeake bay. Now retired and wanting the feel of the wind and the sea. I think I could be called an able seaman and handy engineer. I'm pretty useful. With a backround in mechanical systems including engine and electrical. there are very few things i can not fix. A lot like a MacGyver. I can even cook some simple meals. don't let the years on this sea dog put you off too much ; very healthy and as they say only as old as you think you are. So, I ignore time and don't wear a watch. | |
