Hi, I am 63, married with 2 children living at home in Southampton. I retired in May 2019 and have always wanted to do the ARC. I have c:9,000 miles sailing experience and am an RYA commercially endorsed Yachtmaster. However, due to work commitments I have sailed only about 1 month a year over the past few years. I am a willing crew member and have sailed primarily in the Med on a ranges of boats - Amel Sharki, Beneteau, Bavaria etc. I have also sailed the Channel Islands a number of times, Kategat and most often in the Solent which is where I am based. I have raced in the Solent and also crewed on the Fastnet 2001 on a Sigma 38.
