| Hello, I am a retired educator looking for a crewing opportunity on either the 2023 Arc or Arc+ Atlantic rallies. I live in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and have owned my Moody 37 cc sailing yacht for the past 10 years, of which 3 years were as a live aboard. Most of my sailing is singlehanded or shorthanded sailing and I manage to sail 2-3 months of the year. Each year my partner and I cruise for 4-6 weeks in the summer, usually North Brittany or Cornwall. I am comfortable crossing the Channel from Guernsey to the UK and back singlehanded and at night. In August 2023 I helped double-hand a friends yacht on a 19 day passage to Madeira, I enjoyed this so much that I decided to try and find a crew position on this years Arc Atlantic. I have logged 3500 coastal nautical miles including many crossings to France and the UK and 1500 ocean nautical miles. | |
