Hi, Norwegian man just turned 40 looking to board a ship going from Europe to the Carribean January or back in March. I have been wanting to experience an ocean crossing for some time after talking to friends that have. I have 5 weeks leave from work for this project. The thing that triggers me is experiencing how vast and deserted our planet really is, the isolation, the night sky, learning as much as I can about sailing, forces of nature and more. After crossing the Atlantic my plan is to spend a couple of weeks in South America, Carribean, or wherever the boat sails to. Since I don’t have much experience myself apart from some days of tallship racing. I therefore hope to find a boat/crew that have experience and safety routines and equipment. I do have immense respect for the ocean. Very keen on learning. On the boat I can do different shores as cleaning and cooking, as well helping out sailing and doing night watches. I have good sea-legs and do not get sea sick. Back in Norway I work on public innovation for a governmental agency, enjoy the outdoors as well as most things urban. Reading, keeping fit, family + +.
