_______________________________________ LOOKING FOR PASSAGE TO THE CARIBBEAN _______________________________________ Hi! I'm 31 years old and have been sailing on lakes for a long time. I quit my job and home to do some adventuring now so there is really not a right or wrong place for me to go sailing. I'm more the adventurous sailor (not reckless) than the bay to bay warm water enjoyer :) Originally I'm an aircraft mechanic and machinist but that's some years ago. I use my engineering skills for many smaller projects and have a general knowledge in many things. Not really an expert in anything tho. Since then i've been working in bars, clubs, with dogs and with machines. Last year i finished my bachelors degree in environmental engineering where i specialize in renewables. I've been working in research in that field since then. I just need 200sm more to finish my swiss certificate of ocean yachting (1000sm experience needed) . I passed the theory exam, vhf course and marine first aid. | |
Smoking: | non-smoker |
Relationship status: | single |
Dietary requirements: | I'm cooking vegan for myself. It's all I know and I'm good at. I will eat vegetarian if someone invites me or cooks for me or if there is no other option in a restaurant. I recently tried fishing from a sailboat. I'm okay with that as long as I can fish, kill, prepare the animal myself - I do not enjoy it tho. My opinion in food on a boat is that meat is not that handy to have with you anyway for longer passages. I'm not going to complain if meat is prepared. I just don't want to have anything to do with it. I also appreciate If my we can have an adult conversation about it and not belittle eachothers choices. |
