Experienced, fun and active sailor looking to cross the Atlantic or other opportunities Speaking German, English and Spanish Available around new years Hey captains, I am Luca! I am here, because I got to know the sailing life when I crossed the Pacific in 2019 (8000nm+). This is now far too long ago and I have been craving to go back ever since. I finally have another gap between my semester abroad and the following one in Germany. From January to April I can finally travel again and I definitely want to go back to the living on the ocean for some time! My dream would be to cross the atlantic but if you have other ideas tell me!:) Since the last trip I started studying mechanical engineering, which is the reason I am living in Spain right now for an Erasmus semester. Also, the reasons are that I missed the ocean, wanted to learn surfing and especially learn to speak Spanish in order to be able to immerse myself in a culture again. Here I am able to surf, spearfish or just swim every day! I simply like to be moving and I am always looking for adventure. On land I usually hike and camp a lot as well. Generally I love every kind of sports and music. I got lost in playing the guitar during the lockdown and definitely want to keep making music. At home I am usually fire fighting and spend a lot of time working at a sports summer camp for teenagers. I am very communicative, open and the most important thing for me is to have fun while I am with other people. Actually I love handy work as well, so if we need to get the boat fixed in any way, I am definitely on board! Because of my previous experience I am definitely aware, that living on a boat can be a lot of work and know all about how it is to live in an enclosed space with others. But in the end I always enjoyed that. I have also been told that I cook pretty good and always enjoyed nightwatches and used to take care of the boat for 4 hours every night for the 6 months on the Pacific. So I am definitely ready to help with most things on board and I am aware of how to behave on board, regarding safety and all the other responsibilities! For me, the time on the pacific was the best in my life and since then I have the plan to cross the atlantic and indian ocean as well. I love the lifestyle of sailing, living together and working on the boat. Also I just crave the feeling of being disconnected from the rest of the world for some time again and connecting and bonding with the crew aboard. Let me know what you think and I am looking forward to hearing from you! Be safe and have fun!
