| I am a 62 year old male, married 40 years with 3 adult children, self employed/ semi retired, physically fit, I do 100 mile bicycle rides. I have owned and operated offshore fishing boats for 43 years. Got back into sailing 3 years ago. Joined the local dinghy racing club and took all ASA classes and certifications. have chartered with my wife a coupe of times, done a delivery with a boat broker on a new Vision 444 catamaran. Was invited to crew on the 2023 ARC Europe (St. Thomas to Bermuda on to Azores and terminating in Lagos) on a Fountaine Pajot 45 Helia. My wife and I are currently building a 50 ft catamaran (Knysna 500SE) in S Africa, completion late 2024. | |
