| Started sailing in 2009. Sailed the coast of Scotland, Ireland and the Channel islands in a 35' Westerley; In 2012 sailed mostly double-handed down the French and Portuguese coasts, Madeira and Canaries, in our 45' Finnrose. Took part in the ARC from Las Palmas to St Lucia in Nov 2012, then sailed independently through the Eastern Caribbean in 2013. Returned to the Azores via Antigua and Bermuda independently in 2013, and used that year to gain sailing qualifications. Since undertaken passages in 2019 in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, and completed the Atlantic circuit from Azores to Lagos with friends in the ARC Europe in June 2019. I'm looking always for opportunities to improve sailing skills, I can't think of a better place to be than on an amazing passage.... | |
