Hi! I'm JP and I love the water - from warm and turquoise to frozen solid, it's all good. I've been sailing all my life - so far - and have owned a couple cruising boats over the years. I volunteer as an instructor at my local community sailing center and I also race regularly on OPBs. A note about my sailing experience stats, there is no way to specify Great Lakes sailing so I logged all of my experience under 'Ocean'. I'm a veteran of a few dozen Queen's Cups, Mac races, and Hook campaigns. Because 99% of experience has been on the Great Lakes, I'm looking to expand my horizons with some ocean passages or foreign coasting. I'm at a stage in my life where time frames and destinations become more and more fluid as time goes by so I'll consider just about anything. I can cook but do not desire to be 'the cook'. I can stand watch at the helm, have mechanical skills, and am easy to get along with. I'm also a non-smoker. | |
