| I am an ex venture capitalist turned backpacker and sailor. I quit my corporate/finance job a little over 5 years ago and have been backpacking, diving, hiking and exploring all around the world ever since. Now that I am in my thirties, I’m planing on how to travel for the long term and my dream is to buy a sailboat to live off and travel with. I’m a novice to sailing, but have worked on motor yachts on and off for the past two years. I am experienced with mooring, lines, anchoring, driving tenders, basic navigation, some engine room work, sanding, varnishing, and have done 100s of wash downs. Looking to continue to grow my knowledge and skills necessary to be able to own and operate a sailboat in the future. Happy to help in any way on the boat, from deck work, interior, cooking.. wherever I can be of help. Highly motivated to learn to sail and be a positive addition to your team/boat. | |
