| I come from a sailing and racing family and have sailed since I was a toddler. First on the family wooden classic boats, then dinghy racing for 20 years, ending with racing smaller keel boats 20-24 ft. As a teenager, I worked on a small boat yard in the summers. During my exchange student year in USA I worked as an instructor on a Pearson 36. When I married and had children, I started a sailing school for kids that I ran for 11 years. Now when my kids are grown up, I decided to take an early retirement ad go sailing as much as I can. Before buying my own boat, I want to gain as much experience as I can, sailing and helping out with repairs and maintenance on all kinds of boats. | |
