Joel Odhner 56, cell 267-992-9929 email - [email protected] I have been sailing leisurely and PHRF racing with my Father since I was a child. We sailed boats of various sizes from 12 - 53' in Long Island, Annapolis, and the BVI's. My professional experience includes sailboat deliveries and ASA sailing instruction. I have delivered sailboats from Newport to the BVI's multiple times, Jamaica - Cuba - Florida, Seattle to San Francisco and other east coast deliveries. I am currently an ASA Instructor out of Fort Lauderdale, the Virgin Islands and San Juan Islands. The ASA courses I teach range from basic sailing to advanced coastal navigation. I am a certified USCG Master 100 ton Captain. In my spare time, I am studying celestial navigation. In my previous life, I served 8 years in the Marine Corps and then, I was a private Chef for 25. Other activities and interests of mine include anything outdoors, hiking, skiing, camping, etc. I also enjoy Spartan races for the physical and mental challenge. I keep myself in shape, eat well and don’t smoke. | |
