50 years old. Don't know how that happened so quick. I live in a small farm (amateur farmer) in Scotland where we have sheep, dogs, cats and chickens. I also have a boat that i keep in Dunbar harbour which is right on the North Sea. Its not a sailing boat, i use it more for catching fish, some lobsters and some water skiing on those rare days when the North Sea doesn't have a swell on. I service the engine myself and living on a farm where "everything" needs fixed has made me fairly practical. As a family we like to try and go sailing every year - this year we're off to Kos and in previous years we've chartered yachts in Kefalonia, Croatia and The Grenadines. My family refuse to sail anywhere in less than 20 degrees (sea temperature!!!) and don't see the point in oil skins when a bikini is just fine where as i enjoy sailing when at least 1 reef is needed. My day job is a TV advert producer - its not as glamorous as most imagine and hard work, but i'm going to take a few months off this year and try and do some more sailing. I got my day skipper ticket 25 years ago and have my ICC for sailing and power boats too.
