| I am looking for opportunities to crew on blue water passages to gain experience to eventually captain my own sailboat to sail around the world with my family. I have passed the ASA 103 course and am currently studying the 104. I have no blue water experience yet, but I joined this website for this very reason. I am passionate about sailing, easy going, friendly, highly responsible, and conscientious. We have chartered a sailboat for one week in the Bahamas and the BVIs with a captain. We are also a member of Palm Beach Yacht Club. We periodically sail dinghy's and have limited racing experience as a crew. I have also take a four day Marine Diesel engine repair class in Anapolis. I am interested in general opportunities to gain experience, but I am also interested in completing an ARC rally, crossing from Florida to the Bahamas, the Carribean, etc. | |
