Nationality: | United Kingdom |
Currently based in: | Dublin, Ireland |
Looking for: | Worldwide opportunities |
Experience: | 7000 ocean miles / 6500 coastal miles |
I like solitude and silence and empty waves, and crowded streets and noisy parties. Sugar and spice and all the flavours in between. I am definitely not a morning person, but always stand my watch. I work too much. I grew up everywhere and still want to travel more. Polyglot. My bases are in Ireland and the UK, but I'm offshore most of the time. Sailing Experience: Learned on a Sunfish as a child and keelboats as an adult. I have recently changed my circumstances to turn my passion for sailing into a career. My previous career has demonstrated my experience in team leadership, coaching and mentoring, budget keeping and programme/project management. I am an extremely accomplished communicator and a subject matter expert in policy and data analysis, showing my attention to detail. I am looking for opportunities as a cruising instructor, yacht delivery skipper and mate on larger vessels, in addition to starting studies in small craft surveying.
