| I have sailed since childhood. From 2003 to 2017 I sailed a Hunter 27 off Boston's north shore with my family. In 2018 I moved up to a Beneteau 423, which I sail singlehanded on day trips now that the kids have grow and moved out on their own. I sailed this boat from Melbourne FL to Marblehead MA in 2018. This trip was approx 1300 miles in 10 days including 7 overnights offshore. A delivery captain navigated this trip and I handled the sail trim. I am seeking to gain offshore and passage experience on a cruising boat in the ~40 to 50ft range. I also enjoy mountaineering, long distance cycling and running. I was on the faculty at Harvard Medical School in diabetes research for most of my career and now work in a small company located in both Boston and the UK. I am easy going, friendly, dependable and love sailing. | |
