Hello! My father and I are a package deal crew together, looking for an Atlantic Crossing opportunity. You can see all my sailing history and details in the profile. As for my father (Douglas Miller): his sailing history is massive. He was an officer in the United States Coast Guard for 27 years. At the Coast Guard Academy (college) he was captain of the sailing team and crew on The Eagle, a 295' Barque square-masted sailing ship. Douglas also served as crew on the Annapolis to Newport race, to Bermuda racing and many more. He served as Executive Officer on cutters and ice breakers, crossing the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Southern Ocean. He sailed to both the north and south poles. He turns 80 years old in February 2024 and for his birthday we would like to do an Atlantic crossing together! Douglas is very healthy, sharp and knows how to aggressively sail a race. We can pay our own travel. | |
