Hello, my name is Chris Lanzone and I am 61 years old. I'm looking for a chance to participate in ARC 2024. Crossing the Atlantic has been a dream for several years, and have long believed that ARC would be the best way to achieve this goal. I completed ASA101,103,104,105,106 & 114 then began to charter catamarans in the BVI (when hurricanes & pandemics don't preempt our plans). I've have completed 3 very successful charters in 2017, 2019 and 2022 with family and friends. I will be adding ASA107, Celestial Navigation, to my sailing resume prior to the passage and I would like to practice this navigation skill during the voyage. I recently retired in 2021. I was an Electrical Engineer. I'm handy with electronics, engine mechanics, and most boat systems. I'm have a very easy going personality and I'm a dedicated team player. | |
