I am a healthy and active 58 year old retired executive. I am married with two college-age daughters. I spend my time since retirement mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and travelling. My wife and I currently live in Vermont, USA but have travelled extensively and lived in the Stockholm, Sweden area for 5 years. I am a relaxed and calm person who is easy to engage with and does not get excited easily. I love the outdoors, music, reading, and engaging with people who come from different backgrounds and with different life experiences! I have spent significant time in Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America so I am very comfortable around people from many backgrounds and cultures. As a former engineer I'm also pretty good at maintaining and fixing things... My health is great and I'm a non-smoker but do enjoy the social beer now and then. When we lived in Sweden I owned and skippered a Najad 360 blue water boat for 4 years so I am quite comfortable on a boat and know their systems, terminology, etc. . Now that I am retired would like to get back into sailing from time to time on various trips in warm climates while rekindling my old skills. Looking for a relaxed but safety conscious crew that likes to have fun while sailing and covering some distances and exploring interesting places!
