Looking for boats island hopping northwards from St Lucia. ICC, STCW, Radio Operator, First Aid, Offshore Survival and Firefighting certifications. Compensated positions or free of cost positions preferred. Dear sailors, I am a competent professional sailor willing to fulfill roles such as 1st mate, watch-leader and/or bowman and/or engineer. I have a wide scale of experience from dinghy sailing up to a 122ft classic schooner. I have a masters degree in engineering and have experience with machines and mechanisms found on typical sailing ships. In 2022 I worked on a 72ft sailing ketch which operates in the North Sea providing offshore research and monitoring service. During my free weeks I raced dual handed for a second season on a 33ft racer handling the foredeck and kites. I also skippered a charter in Greece and Croatia and two in the Netherlands. Basically only sailing all the time. STCW basic safety, medical first aid and care, general radio license in the pocket. I will be in the Caribbean from February until I find a suiting boat crossing to Europe with nice company who would like to have me on board and help out. With my various experiences, it is a lot of work to put all my sailing history on my profile. If we get in touch I can send you my resume which has all my info and certificates listed. | |
