| Hola! We’re Estelle & Baptiste, a couple of French engineers aiming to reach Latin America in early 2023. We would like to do a Transatlantic and are available from January 4, 2023 from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. We acquired the basics of navigation through several courses in blue waters: vocabulary, weather, cartography, knots, safety elements on board (STCW10 + PCS1 first aid certification). We still have a lot to learn but we are motivated and willing. We are also aware that a boat is first and foremost the skipper’s house and we’lll be careful to respect this balance. We participate in the daily fees with pleasure, as well as on-board activities (cleaning, cooking, watch). Bio & project: We are a couple of French engineers living in the Netherlands. Estelle is a biomedical engineer and Baptiste a mechanical design engineer in the circular economy. We have planned a "Circular Odyssey" (https://circular-odyssey.com/) starting in January 2023 in hopes of reaching Latin America and sourcing sustainable initiatives in the region. Our first step, helping to set up a "Precious plastic" workshop (https://preciousplastic.com/) in Costa Rica. After that, we aim to interview hospitals in the region to map their “waste streams”.
