G’day, I love motorcycling, scuba diving, travel and sailing. Having grown up in the UK and living in Australia for the last 20 years, I consider myself a global citizen. Currently, I’m taking a long sabbatical from corporate life and senior management to go on an extended world adventure. I keep myself (relatively) fit and am riding my motorbikes across the continents; looking for new adventures and making new friends. I am certified to Coastal Skipper and owned and sailed an IMX38 for 4 years with a group of friends, culminating in the ARC 2001 racing division crossing. I also hold PADI and BSAC instructor certifications and RYA small power boat license as well as basic first aid certifications. Easygoing by nature, I can get along with all ages and personalities and bring a positive and can do attitude to everything I do. I’m handy with the tools (except welding) and always happy to give anything a go. Give me some ingredients and I can usually put together something edible too. If you are looking for crew to help with ARC 2023, I’d be very interested in helping out and then cruising down the Caribbean chain if possible. The plan is to end up in Cuba and then Mexico. My preference would be a 40ft+ yacht or catamaran (especially in the racing decision) but will consider anything. Outside my adventure sports my interests include: travel, reading, history, good food and great whisky and coffee. Cheers, Monty
Smoking: non-smoker
Relationship status: single
Dietary requirements: I’m allergic to bad food. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just made with love. Failing that, as long as there’s no tomato ketchup or baked beans on my plate, I’ll eat it.
