Hello, Hola, Bonjour, Olá! I'm interested in finding a Competent Crew position crossing the Atlantic in January 2022. Would be up for the ARC or an independent crossing. Would love to hear from you if you're doing the trip and need a crew member! I have 6000+ nautical miles experience, and have just passed my RYA yacht master theory, (preparing for the practical next year). Crossed the Pacific last year, cruised around there for 6 months, have done a boat delivery Ibiza to the Canaries, transited the Panama canal a few times as well as a 6 month summer job as deckhand on board a 42' Beneteau in the Med. Have done night watches so am confident doing those solo. I also gained a fair amount of yacht racing experience in Australia, Sydney Harbour for a couple of years when I lived there 2017 - 2019 and obtained my Day Skipper / ICC license with Flying Fish, Sydney. I've been regularly racing in Brighton over the Summer (dinghies and yachts!) and am confident on monos and cats. I have an up to date STCW 95 and ENG1 certificate. I speak Spanish, French and (basic) Portuguese in addition to my native English and am a qualified yoga instructor too. I am a fun, hands-on capable crew member, happy to pitch in reasonable shared costs for the trip. Please feel free to get in touch :-) Cheers, Annalisa | |
