Primary opportunities 1. summer 2022 - Plymouth to Canaries 2. 2022 ARC to St Lucia 3. World ARC 2023 Voyager II is a 2009 oyster 46. Although low sea miles having really only done one Atlantic crossing since launch in 2011, Over the winter she has been thoroughly updated and overhauled and now carries a comprehensive spares inventory and a high level of safety and ocean going equipment. She is itching to get to sea to show us all how well she does what she was designed by Rob Humphrey’s and Oyster to do. Planning to set sail from Plymouth, UK on June 8 2022, heading for northern Spain (a Coruna) , and depending on the wind, possibly via Southern Ireland to enjoy a fair well Guinness or two. I have one able friend joining me as crew for this first step into the blue and we would happily welcome one or two more. I am then intending leisurely 2 months exploring the Atlantic coasts of Spain and Portugal, the stepping up the pace to Morocco, possibly out to Madeira en route to the Canaries. Main mile building sections Biscay and the Portugal to Canaries sections. The ARC I already have my son who is a commercial skipper keen for this leg and would like to fond 2 further crew members to join us. Please forward your interest. The World ARC I have the summer to find and possibly meet and sail with potential crew members for this exciting adventure - or possibly sections of it. Again, if you are interested, please apply. | |
