Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 1500 ocean miles / 1000 coastal miles
I have love for the ocean and a passion for adventure in general. I enjoy sailing, and have other outdoor hobbies including hiking, running and camping. I have more than 2500nm under my belt and believe I arrive to your boat as a competent, keen crew member. I did the Sydney to Hobart last year – and although an absolutely incredible experience it really reinforced how much I love recreational sailing where I can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of sailing and of the places to be explored. I’m a yacht-size (petite) woman and quite generally fit. I love to help sail, navigate, cook (My friends would tell you this is particularly good haha) and just contribute to the overall experience. I do consulting work on land, intentionally, to make myself available for adventures. Earlier this year I decided to upgrade from my competent crew cert and completed the RYA Day Skipper qualification so I hope this opens up more opportunities to crew. My favourite recent sailing adventure was spending 3wks aboard a 50ft cat in SEQld – sailing from Agnes Water out to the Swain Reefs, Percy Isles and Whitsundays – it was fair weather sailing for the most part, and plenty of snorkeling and great time with the crew in between. Looking forward to setting sail with you!
