I am an avid sailor who appreciates discovering picturesque anchorages, interacting with local communities, enjoying challenging sailing trips and immersing myself in the beauty of nature. In addition to sailing, I use my time on board to further my education, accumulate nautical miles, and enjoy the rich local culture and cuisine. Surfing and swimming are always on my radar when conditions allow. My travel philosophy is "the journey is the destination" because it often leads to special and unexpected experiences. A must-see on my travel list is magical Polynesia. My diverse professional background includes working as a chef, graphic designer, photographer, and digital product manager. I had trainings in marine engine maintenance, knowledge of nautical pyrotechnics and signaling, and the ability to interpret weather patterns and navigate effectively. Most recently, I've made the World Sailing Safety Training and be now certified by the International Maritime Organization. In recent years, I have undertaken numerous sailing trips, completing the east and west coasts of the United States, the Pacific coast of Mexico to El Salvador (2500 nautical miles), a three-week voyage to the British Virgin Islands, and an Atlantic crossing from the United States to Spain via Bermuda, the Azores, and the crossing north to south in the Bay of Biscay. My thoughtful nature is complemented by my ability to perform all aspects of the ship's operation, including day and night watches, minor repairs, navigation, and preparing delicious meals as a chef. I am comfortable working as part of a team and enjoy the combination of hard work, camaraderie and constant learning. Since I have a knack for making quick travel arrangements, I am always ready to explore new destinations. In addition to sailing, my active passions include rock climbing, swimming, surfing, slacklining, biking, fishing, and hiking. I am also passionate about photographing and filming my sailing trips to capture the beauty of the sea and the unforgettable moments along the way. These visual records not only serve as a reminder of my adventures, but also allow me to share the magic of sailing and exploration with others. Right now i am in Bali exploring surf- and dive spots and different styles of meditation. And I love it 🤙🏼 | |
