Alexander Brandenburger, male, 48

Ref 21147

Nationality: Germany
Currently based in: Frankfurt, Germany
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 6000 ocean miles / 1200 coastal miles
Apart from sailing, I would also spend the time on board for learning for my new sailing license, gain miles and ENJOY local culture and food :-) - surf and swimming if it's possible. My personal way of traveling (if it's possible) is following the saying "The gone is the target, not the arrival" and always on my way something special happens. I have to see Polynesia ones in my life time. I am a professional chef, graphic designer, photographer and lately, I worked as Project Manager for Digital Product Development. I am trained in maintaining the engine, usage of nautical pyrotechnic and signals as well as weather reading and navigation. In the last years, I did a lot sailing in different locations, like US East- and Westcoast, Mexico Pacific Coast to El Salvador 2500 sm, BVI (3 weeks) and in Europe; I crossed the Atlantic from the US to Spain over Bermuda and the Azores. Nice Trip I’m in general a cautious person. I am entirely able to do day/night watches, navigate, making repairs and working as a chef. I like to be a part of a team, working hard and have the same time fun and get new knowledge about everything. I can get to most places in a short time (the time it takes me prepared bags). Other Sports and Leisure Activities: Climbing, Swiming, Surfing, Slackline, Biking, Fishing, Hiking
Smoking: non-smoker
Relationship status: single
Dietary requirements: I am a Gluten-free eater, so instead of pasta or bread, I eat rice.
