My wife and I completed Sailing School in St. Augustine. FL in 1995 as Certified Bareboat Captains. We are both retired - she an Elementary Teacher and I and Electrical Engineer. We love to travel. I especially love to learn languages and am 70% fluent in French and Spanish. We both have years of experience teaching ESL (English as a Second language - Glenda was a public school system ESL instructor for three years after her elementary teaching career. We have been happily married for 47 years. We are non-smokers and non-alcohol drinkers. We are Christians and live by the Golden Rule. We are both interested in helping to crew a sailboat on an extended cruise. We have bareboat chartered many times and places since 1995, and we have been at sea for a week - twice on a 34' Gemini Catamaran. I sailed a 40' monohull from Miami to the Bimini Islands and back with 6 aboard. I am willing to do any job and any watch. I am a good pilot and skilled at setting the sails for an efficient and comfortable sail. I am also gifted at fixing things and problem solving. Glenda is a great cook and loves children and can assist with their education. She also is good at sail handling. We enjoy people and we enjoy life. Our retirement motto is: "Travel with a Purpose".
