Hi, I have been sailing since I was 21 years old mostly small boats for the first 10 years and then progressively on larger sailboats owning them myself monohull in the 30 to 40 foot range and one catamaran a 38 foot broad blue. The last few years I have had a 48 foot powerboat which I sold last May. I have an expired ocean 100T captains license and have sailed extensively along the eastern seaboard of the US, Chesapeake, and a few long offshore cruises from the Caribbean to New England my longest trip was 1500 ocean miles and my last ocean trip was Tortola to Bermuda three years ago. Most of my offshore experience is on catamaran with the largest being a 48 footer most of that experience was as captain or first Mate. Although I am 69 my health is excellent and I lift weights routinely and engage in Pilates several days a week. I eat almost anything but prefer not to eat much pork. I started my career as an I started my career as a registered nurse, and still maintain a license in Florida . I’m a strong, watch keeper and preferred to be on the safe side and tend to reduce sail if it’s a bit windy when I am piloting a boat at night. I do not have a lot of experience with spinners . I particularly enjoy long distance and ocean sailing able to cover expenses. I’m a decent cook preferring a clean meal I drink moderately. I’m sorry I really only speak English. But I don’t mind if others speak their native tongue when it does not concern me. | |
