[ Cancelled ] 2100nm Sailing trip Canaries, Ayores, Lisabon back to Canaries Canary Islands to Canary Islands ref 10153

Bob McDowell wants 4 crew for TBD(Name will change when registered), Lagoon 40, 13m.

From San Miguel de Abona, Canary Islands to San Miguel de Abona, Canary Islands.

November 2018 to November 2018.

I'm looking for 4 people to join us in November on a sailing adventure from Tenerife to The Azores, then to Cascais, Portugal and back to Tenerife. The trip will take approximately 3 weeks and the 3 legs are each c.700nm long. (Individual legs may be available to sail if your time is short). You will be involved in all aspects of preparation and sailing, from cooking and navigation to standing night watches and in-depth weather analysis, so this is a great way to prepare for your own boat journey or get some high level tuition while building your ocean miles. Since I will teach astral navigation en route, these 3 passages can be qualifiers for any aspiring RYA Yachtmaster Ocean candidates. And aside from all that, it promises to be an epic and fun sail. The Azores are well known as one of the best whale spotting territories in Europe, and Cascais is such a vibrant town on the outskirts of Lisbon. I have been skippering leadership programmes for a professional coaching group in corporate and university programs for the last 5 years and will pass on the leadership skills I have learned in this program. There will be 2 professional RYA YM Oceans skippers from Pathfinders aboard for the trip. [email protected]
