[ Cancelled ] World ARC Leg 11 Cape Town, St Helena, Salvador South Africa to Brazil ref 2543

Dan Bower wants 6 crew for Skyelark of London, Skye 51, 16m.

From Cape Town, South Africa to Salvador, Brazil.

January 2018 to February 2018.

Leg 11: Cape Town, St Helena, Salvador (Brazil) (3600nm) Joining in Cape Town on the 5th, we will set sail with the WARC fleet on the 7th for our Atlantic journey across to Brazil. SE trade winds mean fast downwind sailing. There can't be many people who have visited the small remote island of St Helena – there is no airport here so only the most intrepid travellers can get here. It is a great opportunity to break up the ocean passage and have some time exploring and enjoying the hospitality of the welcoming islanders. It is then a further 1900nm tradewind sail onto Salvador in Brazil, where you can celebrate crossing the Atlantic. Skyelark is fully coded to cat 0 regulations (unrestricted). This will be her second circumnavigation with her owners Dan and Em, both highly experienced ocean yachtmasters. £3500 Please see http://skye51.com for all the details
