David Poole wants 1 crew for Pure Joy, Seawind 1600, m.
From Mackay, Australia to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.
July 2025 to April 2026.
We are looking for one crew member (male or female) to join us for as much of the second half of the World ARC as possble. Starting either in Vanuatu or Australia, this fabulous itenerary will cruise the Great Barrier Reef, Lombok, Christmas Island, Cocos, Mauritius, Reunion,South Africa, Namibia, St Helena, Brazil (Carnival), Grenada and finally St Lucia. Pure Joy is a very comfortable boat designed for long distance cruising and is considered one of the faster and more fun (!) boats in the World ARC fleet. The World ARC fleet crew are a diverse and fun crowd on 32 different boats. Pure Joy tends to hang out with the family boats as we have our son Elliot aboard who is a very well behaved and fun 8 year old. These boats are also the most lively socially - think parties and beach BBQs. Take a look at our blog www.sailingpurejoy.com

I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk

Total people on board: 6
Crew roles: Chef / Deckhand - Our ideal crew member would have enough experience to handle regular daytime shifts at the helm but would enjoy and be excellent at catering for the crew. We are looking for a lively and friendly crew member willing to get involved in the social aspects of the rally and in the fun we have aboard.
