Sailing the german North Sea Coast in October can be challenging but also very beautiful. It is my last trip of the season and the weather will tell, if we can make it to Heligoland or not. Probably one leg of the journey will be (partly) at night. If the forecast is too bad for Heligoland we'll discuss what is feasible. Please note, that the final port is not the port of departure. Hooksiel is about a few kilometers north of Wilhelmshaven. There is a bus connecting both cities.

Sailing with a Rally: Independent

I'm looking for (gender): either

Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk

Smoking on board: smoking allowed

Crew roles: You want to apply for this opportunity? Great! Yet there are some things you should keep in mind: You should be be competent at steering a boat and have basic knowledge on how to operate sails on yachts. Because the North Sea can be tough out of nowhere in October being completely new to sailing is not the best for this passage. You should have experience in tidal waters and be robust in terms of cold weather. You are more than welcome if this isn't your first night at sea.
