[ Archived ] Whidbey Island Race Week United States to United States ref 6225

Sea to Sky Sailing wants 7 crew for Paragon, X-372 Sport, 12m.

From Oak Harbor, United States to Oak Harbor, United States.

July 2016 to July 2016.

Whidbey Island Race Week is the premier regatta in the Pacific Northwest. It is a rare opportunity to race, rinse, repeat... 5 days in a row! It all takes place in the hospitable community of Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island in Washington state. The 'champagne sailing' conditions of the racing course in nearby Penn Cove and the festival atmosphere on shore make this an unmissable event every summer! Racing is tight, tough and excellent. The shore parties each night offer live music, theme nights and the opportunity to meet and mingle with sailors from all over the Pacific Northwest. Previous sailing experience including spinnaker experience is required. Suitable minimum experience would include our Quicker Crew course plus a Spinnaker Workshop. Previous racing experience recommended but not required. Crew meet the Sea to Sky Sailing race boat with skipper and first mate at Oak Harbor on Sunday evening for a Team dinner. We race Monday to Friday, attend the awards party on Friday night and have a final crew breakfast Saturday morning before the boat heads back home. Pricing in Canadian dollars is just $1,325. Discounted rate available for 16-25 year olds and/or by joining the Sea to Sky Sailing Race Team... details here: http://www.seatoskysailing.com/race-team
